e-Shopping Cart
The Shopping cart feature is useful for companies planning to sell
products and/or services through the WEB site. This is a fully integrated e-Commerce system, where you can sell your products/services and enable your customers to purchase them through the web site.
This solution involves two sections of the website.
1)Visitor Site
2)Administration Site.
The following are the features for each of the web site sections.
Features on Visitor site:
- Ability to view the list of product categories.
- Ability to view the list of featured/sale products on the home page.
- Ability to click on category of items and view the complete list of products in that category.
- Ability to view the selective product and view complete information of the product.
- Ability to add the selected product, including the quantity to the shopping cart.
- Ability to view all of the products added to the shopping cart any time.
- Login access: Shopping cart forces the user to securely login to the whenever the user selects “Check out” button.
- The system also allows the new user to register into the system. While
registering into the system, system keeps the previously added products
to the shopping cart, so that visitor does not have to go through the
complete shopping process again.
- Ability to view the previously placed orders into the system.
- Several more shopping cart related features are made available for consumer.
Features on Administration site:
- Secure login access to the site.
- Ability to create/edit/disable categories.
- Ability to create/edit/disable products of the selected category.
- Search for products in the system.
- View the list of ordered generated from public WEB site.
- Ability to change the status of the order after fulfillment.
- Add notes to the previously generated order.
- Several management reports related to products and orders.
- View the list of the most actively being sold items.
- Several more shopping cart related features
