e-Smart Poll
SmartPolls are different from Surveys. In smart polls, there will be
very simple questions with multiple choice answers displayed to the
visitor.
SmartPolls demand only few seconds of visitor’s valuable time, where as
the surveys may make visitors feel that they need to spend enormous time
and answer series of questions. Depending on the situation, it is
recommended to use “smartpoll” option in place of survey.
This solution involves two sections of the website.
1)Visitor Site
2)Administration Site.
The following are the features for each of the web site sections.
Features on Visitor site:
- Ability to display the Smart Poll question and it’s possible answers.
- By clicking on one of the answers and then click “submit”, it will
accept the visitor’s answer and display a button to click and view the
results of the smart poll.
- Present the results of the smart poll.
- Disable the user to participate in the same SmartPoll question for at
least 30 days. If the user clicks on “SmartPoll” to participate on this
question with in 30 days, it should display user that he/she had already
participated recently and it should direct him to view the results of
the smart poll.
Features on Administration site:
- Secure login access to the site.
- Ability to list the smart poll questions.
- Ability to create smart poll question or edit the existing smart poll question.
- Activate one of the “Smart Poll” questions to be displayed on the public WEB site.
- Disable the existing smart poll question from display or force the expiration of the smart poll question.
